ENTER THE NAIL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Rules

1. Box art should be prepared any time before Championship day and delivered on allocated registration time.
2. Theme is free.
3. Acrylics, gels, plastilin gels, hybrid gels, gel paint, acrylic paint, nail art paint, dipping powders ONLY can be used.  
4. 10 plastic tips must be used.
5. Shape of plastic tips can be square, oval or stiletto.
6. Plastic tips should be displayed as on human hand- right and left hand nails with thumbs placed in the middle and pinkie placed on the sides.
7. The largest nail tip can be any length up to 10 cm.
8. The smallest plastic tip must not be smaller than 3,5 cm in length.
9. All plastic tips must be placed in an open box (no cover) with size of no larger than 15x10 cm and not smaller than 12x8 cm. Heights of the box should be not more then 2-3 cm.
10. Box can be made of any solid material, such as wood, plastic or metal.  Box must be plain in color with no decorations, patterns, ornaments, glitters or other applications.
11. Background of the box should be covered by white paper or plain white coloring only.
12. No decoration on the background of the box is permitted, decoration must be done only on plastic nail tips.
13. Box should be displayed without top cover for judging.
14. Glitters, chrome powders, foils, gold leaves, shimmer powders are NOT allowed to be used.
15. Stickers, water decals, prefabricated ornaments, prefabricated 3d art are NOT allowed to be used.
16. Creating 3d art should be hand made by the nail artists.
17. 3d stickers or prefabricated pieces are NOT allowed.
18. No brand or trade mark images can be displayed, such as Disney, Star Wars, Marvel or brand logos display.
19. Plastic tips must be covered with paint only of any kind- gel polish, acrylic paint or nail polish.
20. Theme should be visible and understood by a judge.
21. Entire surface may be covered by gel top coat, or regular top coat or any other thin protective layer lacquer as chosen by nail artists.
22. Entire surface of art on 10 plastic tips can be free of any top coat or protection layer on or as desired by the nail artist. 

ENTER THE NAIL CHAMPIONSHIPS

1. First step registration and payment must be done prior to championship online on the website of Professional Beauty GCC at  Enter Nail Championship here
2. If you're an individual, salon, or exhibitor of Professional Beauty GCC entering 5 or more people or categories, apply the coupon '5ormore' at checkout for each category.
3. Brands not exhibiting can inquire about sponsorship and available discounts by contacting [email protected]
4. Salons and Brands entering individuals are known as ‘Sponsors’ and will appear alongside the entrants name in any promotion or marketing.
5. Unauthorised use of a coupon will be assumed if anyone uses the coupon for less than 5 entries or for those companies that are brands who are not exhibiting at Professional Beauty GCC.
6. Any unauthorised use of the coupon will result in automatic disqualification of the entrant and any payments made will not be refunded.
7. Second step registration must be done in person by visiting the registration booth on the championship arena at 09.00 on the first day of Nail Championship PBGCC.
8. Failure to register via 2 steps- online and on the arena will lead to disqualification and PBGCC reserves the rights to no refund.
9. No show or late arrival for registration may lead to disqualification of contestant.
10. Every registered contestant must adhere to every term and condition of Nail Championship PBGCC.
11. Rules are exactly the same for every contestant and no exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
12. Organizers of Nail Championship PBGCC reserve the rights to disqualify and reject those participants and their models that do not follow the rules of assigned category and breach the General Terms and Conditions of PBGCC Nail Championship.
13. In case of disqualification payment for participation will not be refunded to participant and will be kept 100% by PBGCC Nail Championship.
14. As organizer- Nail Championship PBGCC  reserves the rights to take photos and videos of any participant, models and their work with the rights to use content at any time anywhere on their own decision. All photos and videos can be used solely by PBGCC without any notification to any other party.
15. Late arrival or arrival after registration is closed will lead to disqualification. See registration timing accordingly to the chosen category. Flight delays or cancelations, other transportation delays, force major of any kind will be considered as no show and will lead to disqualification.
16. Mobile phones and other electronic devises must be on silence mode and no vibration mode on the competition arena.
17. Models should not use their phones and video photo gadget during competition.
18. All participants must provide their own model. Model should have any valid ID for age verification. Models below 18 years old are not accepted.
19. Models hands and arms must not have any permanent tattoo or other visible unique marks. Jewellery, watch is not allowed to be worn during competition and during judging.
20. Models are not allowed to leave arena without floor judge approval before judging.
21. Contestant and model should wear appropriate public attire accordingly to UAE culture standards.
22. Participants can wear brand uniform. However, just professional looking attire is accepted as well.
23. Entire scope of products, tools and implements must be supplied by contestants.
24. Products such as acrylic powders, monomers, lotions, gels, nail polish and gel polish, base, top, cuticle oil and lotion must be in clean looking containers with visible sign of brand production. Brand must be registered with Montaji and be legal to be used in UAE or other GCC countries.
25. International contestant arriving from overseas can use brands registered in country of origin. Label and brands must be visible and labelled for international standards of cosmetics use.
26. Cans, bottles containing products such as oils, lotions, powders, gels, nail polish, gel polish, base coats or top coats without visible brand sign or logo will be taken away from the table during floor judge table check and will be returned only after competition.
27. Tools, brushes, files, buffers, water bowls do not require any registration, can be of any brand or production.
28. In case of local participants, product lucking registration with local or GCC authorities- products will be taken away prior to competition without replacement and returned after competition end.
29. LED or UV lamps, desk lamps, extension cords, sufficient number of sockets on extension cord should be supplied by contestant.
30. In case required by a category rules, water must be prepared by contestant prior to start of competition.
31. Trash bag or bin must be supplied by contestant.
32. Contestant and model are not allowed to leave the competition arena after registration. In case of emergency ask for floor judge assistance.
33. Contestants are not allowed to stand up and leave the desk during competition. Leaving desk or competition area during competition timing will result in disqualification. No registration fee will be returned to contestant.
34. PBGCC Nail Championship will supply desk, chairs and shared sockets only.
35.  Assigned hand must be used for each category. Read carefully category rules and requirements.
36. One model is allowed to be used for two categories, as long as assigned hand is used for assigned category.
37. In case of using wrong hand participant may be disqualified.
38. Only contestants and models are allowed to be present within competition area. Company representatives, relatives or other supporters are not allowed to enter competition area. Or communicate with contestant.
39. Models should not interact during competition with outside public. Doing so will lead to immediate disqualification of a participant.
40. Managers and supervisors are not allowed to interact with the participants during competition and judging. Doing so will lead to disqualification of participant.
41. Participants are not allowed to speak to anybody from public or spectators during competition.
42. Participants are allowed to communicate with their own model only during competition, not during judging.
43. Drills are not allowed to be used during competition except Fashion manicure and Russian manicure categories, or otherwise as per rule of the category.
44. Tips, pre-tailored sculpting forms are not allowed to be used during competition.
45. Sculpting forms must be new with no visible preparation cuts.
46. Once the competition category timing announced as finished, participant must stop immediately any work and stand up.
47. Continuing touching model after time announced as finished may lead to disqualification.
48. For exact timing refer to schedule and category rules.
49. Participant must be present at award ceremony at 17:30 on the day of the championship. Place, winners will be announced or confirmed  during award ceremony.
50. Certificates of participation and trophies will be given out during ceremony on the second day of the Nail Championship PBGCC.
51. In case of art categories trophy or certificate can be received by representative.
52. Participants may request judging sheets and talk to curtain judges after competition award ceremony.
53.  Score sheets and results will be available after award ceremony for contestant only.
54. In case of failure to adhere to terms and conditions PBGCC reserves the rights to disqualify and keep 100% of participation fee.
