Abtaluna is thrilled to launch its 3rd Annual Hair Donation Campaign this September, aimed at raising awareness and support for childhood cancer. We invite all salon properties to participate in this impactful initiative from September 1 to September 30, 2024.
Campaign Overview:
Our campaign encourages salons to offer free haircuts to individuals willing to donate their hair. This effort will help generate vital support for children battling cancer while also engaging the community in a cause that truly matters.
Key Details and Actions:
Donation Guidelines: Ensure that the donated hair meets FOCP guidelines, with a minimum length of 28 to 30 cm. For detailed guidelines, please check here.
Free Haircuts: Provide complimentary haircuts to those donating their hair. Although other services may be chargeable, you are welcome to offer discounts as you see fit. This campaign is inclusive of women, men, and children.
Hair Certificates: Remind donors that they can apply for a hair donation certificate from FOCP. The application can be accessed here.
Stay Informed: For any inquiries, email me or join our Whatsapp group here.
Social Media Sharing: Tag @Abtaluna in your social media posts and share videos or photos of hair donations. Before and after photos are particularly engaging. If donors prefer privacy, consider taking photos from the back.
Viral Video Initiative: We are collaborating with FOCP and Pro Beauty to create a viral video. Share your videos and photos on social media or send them via Whatsapp/Email to contribute to this exciting project.
Campaign Materials: Attached, you will find the official campaign poster in both languages. Download the version with your salon’s logo from Canva here and refrain from altering the design.
Website Feature: Your salon’s contact details and an FAQ section will be featured on Abtaluna’s website. Confirm your participation by August 26 to be included.
