With social media continuing to be one of the most popular advertising mediums for spas and salons, “selfies” or any other posted visuals of your clients must be good enough to put you ahead of the competition.
For manicures, the correct lighting and perhaps the use of filters can enhance your pictures, but the majority of you said that the use of props was your favourite method of ensuring that your client snaps are eye-catching.
Gratuities are a much-appreciated element of the industry but the amount that clients tip is far and varied. Interestingly, our survey revealed that the average gratuity per spa treatment is 28AED.
Other figures collated reveal a good month, with more than half of you claiming that treatment business is better year on year.
