This October, Delano Dubai will reintroduce the essence of modern luxury, capturing the vibrant energy and cultural zeitgeist of its famed Miami counterpart. Located on the pristine shores of Bluewaters Dubai, a lifestyle destination by Dubai Holding, the hotel will feature 167 guestrooms and 84 suites, including a five-bedroom penthouse. Designed in Delano's signature understated style, the property promises a blend of contemporary design, legendary spirit, and chic sensibility.
The hotel will offer three exceptional culinary and mixology experiences, including the renowned Rose Bar. Guests can also enjoy the sea-front swimming pool, perfect for socializing or relaxing in discretion on this secluded island.
Originally launched in the mid-90s, Delano's Miami location quickly gained a devoted following among the social elite for its avant-garde approach to luxury hospitality. The opening of Delano Dubai marks a new milestone for the brand, embodying and elevating the principles that secured its legendary status, ushering in a new era of lifestyle hospitality characterized by refined luxury, sophisticated style, and bespoke service.
The interiors of Delano Dubai, designed by Elastic Architects, LaBottega, SA Consultants, and Y Design, draw inspiration from the Miami original, designed by Philippe Starck. The exterior features verdant manicured topiary, reminiscent of South Beach's infamous hedge, while soft, flowing fabrics create a veiled arrival, transitioning guests into Delano's textured, sensory world. The hotel's use of signature white creates bright, light-filled spaces, complemented by contrasting architectural lighting, bold tones, and natural materials such as leather, marble, onyx, white oak, and mohair. Guest areas are defined by organic forms and flow out to English gardens and tree-studded terraces.
The natural aesthetic influences extend to the hotel's 251 rooms and suites, featuring modern design with soft, curved silhouettes and rich textures. Each guestroom offers a tonal color palette, bespoke furnishings, a private balcony or terrace, and a luxurious marble bathroom. The hotel also includes an exclusive selection of 83 suites with elegant living and dining spaces, as well as private outdoor areas like terraces, gardens, and pools. The crown jewel, Delano Penthouse, spans the entire seventh floor and features a private elevator entrance, infinity swimming pool, and two terraces with spectacular views over the city skyline and Arabian Gulf.
