Join the next course in Austria this June
Launched in October 2015, this innovative and unique MBA programme: International Hospitality and Spa Management is designed both for people presently working as managers in the hospitality and spa industry or in health tourism and for those planning to do so in the future.
Dr. Eva Adamer-König, head of degree programme commented: “Our graduates can manage a spa as a business unit or as an independent company, but they are also prepared to manage hotels and in that context to make spa-related business decisions.“
Taught in English, the part-time international master programme is structured on a flexible, modular basis and includes extensive e-learning components, which allow students to apply what they have learned directly in their professional practice, while they go on with their career.
“With 180,000 spa managers working in the industry and only 4,000 in education there is no doubt that we are lacking qualified spa managers. I truly welcome FH JOANNEUM's comprehensive and accomplished spa management program and look forward to see it evolve.“ Anna Bjurstam, owner Raison d’Etre; vice‐president, Six Senses Spas and Resorts.
