Nouveau Lashes awarded Queen's Award for Enterprise

Nouveau Lashes has been awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

Nouveau Lashes, which pioneered the natural lash lift with its LVL treatment, and also specialises in individual extensions, was recognised for its innovative treatments and wide international reach. 

Nouveau Lashes now trades across 52 countries around the world. Last year, Nouveau Lashes' export performance contributed to a 41% increase in turnover.

The Queen's Awards for Enterprise is an awards programme for British businesses and other organisations that excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development. The awards are among the most sought after for British businesses.

Nouveau Lashes was co-founded by two of the UK’s leading permanent cosmetics artists, Bridgette Softley and Karen Betts, who are passionate about helping people living with hair and lash loss conditions.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are awarded to businesses for outstanding achievement in four categories: International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity, and are valid for five years.

The award will be officially presented to Nouveau Lashes team at its head office in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, by the Lord-Lieutenant of the County as HM The Queen’s representative.

The Awards consist of a Grant of Appointment and a presentational item bearing the emblem. Nouveau Lashes will have the honour of flying the Queen’s Award flag at its premises.

Additionally, the Queen hosts a reception at Buckingham Palace for representatives of the winning companies which will be attended by Bridgette Softley later in the year.
