Samsung launch new skin diagnostics tool

Samsung, Ulta Beauty and Revive have teamed up to bring customers a new personalised skin diagnostics tool.
Available through Samsung's Virtual Assistant, Bixby Vision, the platform will offer users advice about their skin care concerns based on what they see via the app.
Bixby Vision is Samsung's voice-activated app, which is built into the Samsung camera to give more information about a picture.
To use, customers can take a selfie which once uploaded, will then target the skincare concerns and offer recommendations via utlabeauty.com, where products can be purchased.
"We're extremely excited to partner with Ulta Beauty and Samsung to drive a personalised skincare offering through Bixby Vision," said Revieve's CEO Sampo Parkkinen.
"As e-commerce moves more and more to mobile devices, the availability of innovative digital services directly on mobile devices without sepereate mobile applications makes it very convenient for consumers."
Initially, the service will be available for Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10 users.
Ulta's Senior VP of Digital and E-Commerce, Prama Bhatt, added: "Our partnership with Samsung and Revieve is a great example of how we are creating digital experiences to help guests find the right skin care for them in an easy, fun and interactive way."
