SPF beauty products top Pinterest's summer trends

SPF lip balms are in high demand, thanks to the recent summer statistics released by image-based inspiration-sharing site, Pinterest.
"Pins" or saves for SPF lip balms were up a staggering 304% year on year, while natural sunscreens also grew by 121%.
Tinted sunscreens specifically saw an increase of 157%. The pinning activity indicates that consumers are taking suncare very seriously, which is especially important here in the GCC.
In April Pinterest said that pins for "vegan beauty" had seen an increase a 50% increase in the previous six months.
