The Dorchester is coming to Dubai!

Marked as one of the most luxourious 5* hotels in London, it has just been announced that the Dorchester will be expanding their collection in Dubai.

The location of the Dorchester has been confirmed as The Dubai Water Canal, an area which has seen huge growth in the last year. The brains behind the launch are 'Omniyat' who claim that the hotel will be a full five-star resort, which will also include luxury residences, managed by the Dorchester Collection, and based at Marasi – which is also where you’ll find Dubai’s stunning water villas. 

The announcement sees Dubai join the most upmarket addresses, including London’s Park Lane as well as Paris, Beverly Hills and Rome as established locations for the Dorchester group. Omniyat’s CEO, Mahdi Amjad, says the partnership is a strong statement for both companies operating in the “ultra-premium” market.

“We aim for authenticity through our projects that add to Dubai’s skyline and we only partner with the world’s most established brands that share our passion and excitement for creating unique, ultra-luxury developments,” said Mahdi. “We want to fuel unforgettable experiences through our projects and we couldn’t have found a more suitable partner than Dorchester Collection.”

While few details have been confirmed at this stage, there are two things to consider. Firstly, a full launch event for the brand and the hotel is pencilled in for March, so in just a few weeks we’ll know an awful lot more about what lies in store. Secondly, Omniyat says the agreement with Dorchester is “a long-term agreement that will be rolled out in the coming years”.
