The Fellowship of British Hairdressing @ Salon International 2016 - DAY 1
The Fellowship Stage opened on Saturday 15th October as another fabulous line up of top industry talent took to the infamous platform.
President Bruno Marc welcomed the audience to what promised to be a fabulous and action packed weekend before introducing Jamie Benny, Melissa Timperley, Rosie Binns and Zoe Williams who make up the F.A.M.E. Team 2016. Their show was a fantastic concept and the crowds gathered to watch a model transformed live on stage with a catwalk show carefully choreographed to ensure the wow factor. The Alan d Graduate Team followed The F.A.M.E. Team, as Edward Hemmings introduced Academy Principal Kevin Day and 10 of their best students to demonstrate their fantastic skills that they have developed over the last year. Next to the stage was The Feds with their structured looks that demonstrated tapered finishes and layering techniques, before there was a chance to hear from Jamie Benny, Melissa Timperley, Rosie Binns and Zoe Williams about their year in F.A.M.E. Team and how they came up with their show concept.
The Marc Antoni Artistic Team followed with their models. They showcased their latest collection Aurora with beautiful clean lines all complimented by vibrant colour placements.
Andreas Stavrou then introduced the HOB Creative Team and their graduated looks, with bevelling simple geometric shapes. Following HOB was Jayne Wild from ghd Australia and she was joined by Ali Holmes and Dave McColluoch as they shared their latest collection of Cuts and Do’s focusing on head hugging shapes that are flattering to the face.
Rush took inspiration from their Sports Luxe collection for their show, and on stage were 4 artistis including Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year Andy Heasman and Editorial Director Tina Farey.
Renowned industry extraordinaire Patrick Cameron was next to the stage as he shared his secrets on how toget the most out of long hair, before the Alan d Graduate Team returned with their fashion looks from 10 of their best students.
The F.A.M.E. Team 2016 returned to close Saturdays line up with a showcase of their earlier looks, and President Bruno Marc followed them on stage to thank all those involved for making Saturdays show “absolutely fantastic!”
