The first World Spa & Wellness Asia reveals convention programme

The education programme for the inaugural World Spa & Wellness Asia event, held in Phuket, Thailand on May 21-22, has been announced.

Topics on the agenda at the two-day World Spa & Wellness Asia Convention will include how to master digital content, successful spa retailing, and yield management, among other topics.

The event, taking place at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Phuket, is organised by the team behind the World Spa & Wellness Conventions in London and Dubai and the global portfolio of Professional Beauty trade shows.

Among the other industry key topics covered at the two-day convention will be how to keep up with industry trends, knowing if aesthetic treatments are right for your spa, and the right staff salaries and benefits to pay.

The convention programme will also address how to convince hotel general managers to invest in training, and how to tackle sexual harassment by customers in spas - among other topics. 

A boutique networking and education event for senior spa and wellness professional from the Asia region and beyond, World Spa & Wellness Asia will bring together top-level spa and wellness operators with leading industry suppliers.

Targeting around 45 brands and 500 visitors – including convention delegates – the event will also include a brand showcase area. Brands exhibiting at World Spa & Wellness Asia will include Aromatherapy Associates, Sothys, Gharieni, Indiba and Viora. 

Further details about the convention programme, including the speakers and chairs participating over the two days, will be released shortly. Delegate passes to World Spa & Wellness Asia are priced at US$475 for buyesr and US$1,000 for suppliers.
