Last month we visited recently opened Fairmont Fujairah and on that occasion, we could not resist the offer to try one of the many relaxing treatments at the Willow Stream Spa, Fairmont’s signature health and wellness brand. Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort is one of only two hotels to offer the Willow Stream Spa in the UAE. Consisting of four single treatment rooms and two VIP suites, the spa entices world-weary visitors to leave all cares behind and rediscover their calm in a peaceful atmosphere. A rustic theme is the philosophy behind the pure white design that resonates throughout, bringing together driftwood beams with Arabesque lanterns and wall alcoves. Providing plenty of relaxation areas, the spa also features sauna and steam rooms, separate male and female facilities.

This 2 hour ritual first started off with the deep exfoliation using local natural products.

Inspired by ancient bedouin rituals of the UAE, this body treatment uses authentically sourced products to experience the ritual that is uniquely designed. The invigorating and highly effective dual firming properties of Caffeine Concentrate and Sumac to combat the most stubborn dimpling effect caused by cellulite. Ritual continue in a heated cocoon to nourish and repair the skin with a date body mask, using the dates from Ras Al Khaimah region which are rich in fatty acids and trace minerals.

After this amazing experience, I was in treat for second part of the treatment, Elemental Herbology’s Five Element Aroma Massage.

This aromatherapy massage blends customized essential oil infusions with skillful therapeutic techniques to deliver the ultimate massage experience. This treatment draws from both Eastern and Western massage and thermotherapy techniques to help balance both body and mind. You can choose from a selection of oils representing the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Wood for Rejuvenation, Fire for Zest, Earth for Balance, Metal for Detoxifying or Water to Soothe.

After this wonderful treatment with highly skilled and very professional therapist, I could not resist to try out futuristically looking action shower with four controlled selections offering you feel of "Tropical Rain", "Cold Mist", "Spring Rain" and "Caribbean Storm" accompanied with colorful lights and sound system streaming birds singing, waves splashing and rain falling.

When leaving, I was greeted by Spa Director asking about my treatment.

Amazing experience and this is so far for me one of the best ones I have had in UAE so far. The staff is exceptional and they make sure they turn your moments into memories!
