Urban Retreat at Harrods officially closes today after 16 years

After spending 16 years on the fifth floor of Harrods, Urban Retreat officially closed its doors today (April 22nd)
The London luxury department store is opening an in-house hair and beauty salon next month, ending their partnership with Urban Retreat.
Harrods has claimed that it will make "substantial investments" over the following months to provide an "industry-leading luxury service proposition to customers."
Urban Retreat founder George Hammer plans to focus on expanding the salon concept into other sites.
