Zulal Wellness Resort in Qatar to open by November

The highly anticipated destination, which is set to be the region’s largest wellness resort, is now accepting bookings on stays from Monday November 15 onwards.

Set in the Khasooma coastal area in northern Qatar, Zulal Wellness Resort offers customised retreats, with a minimum stay of two or three nights.

Your booking will include all treatments, which will be chosen after a consultation with a group of experts, plus three healthy meals a day and access to a number of leisure activities.

The resort is split into two, with an adults-only side featuring 60 rooms and suites aimed at those aged 16 and above. Programmes under Zulal Serenity can focus on relaxation, detoxing, weight management or fitness.

Zulal Discovery is instead aimed at families, with programmes customised for multiple generations and specific age groups. There are 120 rooms and suites for families.

Facilities available at Zulal Wellness Resort include hydrotherapy suites, indoor and outdoor pools and a lagoon, health and wellness centres complete with a Pilates studio, and an aesthetic centre.

Daniele Vastolo, general manager of Zulal Wellness Resort, said, “While being deeply rooted in Qatari and wider Arab traditions, Zulal Wellness Resort offers over 400 treatments in a contemporary approach, catering to guests’ needs in a serene setting attuned to the natural surroundings of the area.

“And with a digital-detox policy in all public areas, the vastness of the desert surrounding, and views on the ocean, guests can fully disconnect and reconnect with nature.”

Restaurants on site will offer up Arabic, Mediterranean and fine-dining options, all created using natural ingredients.
