Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced a landmark partnership with Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills to develop a new ultra-luxury destination: the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi, set to open in 2030. The resort will rise on a secluded, horseshoe-shaped island offering sweeping views of the sea, the Abu Dhabi skyline, and Qasr Al Watan.

This expansive project will feature 60 guestrooms and suites, 30 standalone villas, and 90 private mansions, marking a new benchmark in luxury hospitality in the region.

“With Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi, we continue our jeweller of hospitality’s magnificent journey of bringing Bvlgari’s distinctive elegance and craftsmanship to the world’s most remarkable destinations,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari. “This project is a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s unique cultural identity, blending timeless sophistication with modern luxury.”

Echoing that sentiment, Mohamed Alabbar, founder and chairman of Eagle Hills, noted, “Abu Dhabi has always stood for vision and grace. This partnership with Bvlgari reaffirms our commitment to placing the Emirate at the epicenter of luxury living — where exceptional design, exclusivity, and Arabian soul converge.”

At the heart of the development will be the 1,200-square-meter Bvlgari Villa, boasting five bedrooms, a private park, a 20-meter pool, and direct beach access. The resort’s main building will house two Bvlgari Suites, a Bvlgari Penthouse, and world-class dining and wellness offerings.

Signature dining and wellness experiences

Guests will enjoy a range of dining venues, including Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Hōseki, a Turkish restaurant, La Spiaggia, and the Bvlgari Bar. The resort will also feature Il Caffè, Bvlgari Dolci, and La Galleria.

A dedicated Bvlgari Spa will span 2,000 square meters, including a 25-meter lap pool, 1,000-square-meter fitness center, and wellness areas with panoramic sea views.

Exclusive lifestyle amenities

The resort will offer a Yacht Club with a 40-berth marina, a private beach, and a city-facing ballroom for banquets and events. The 90 residential mansions will range in size from 1,650 to 2,500 square meters, with eight estates featuring private beaches and others offering private boat docks for vessels up to 25 meters.

“This project captures the best aspects of its location—secluded and immersed in nature—while remaining within easy reach of central Abu Dhabi,” said Patricia Viel, CEO of ACPV ARCHITECTS, the firm behind the project’s design. “The interplay of architecture, natural surroundings, and exceptional amenities creates a distinctive and refined living environment.”

Landscape and legacy

The landscape will be crafted by Milan-based LAND SRL, designed to blend Italian and Arabian aesthetics through gardens, dunes, and natural forms.

Owned and developed by Eagle Hills, the project joins the company’s expansive global portfolio, which spans over 18 countries and includes major developments such as Downtown Dubai, Belgrade Waterfront, and Maryam Island.

The Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi is poised to become a defining landmark in the luxury hospitality landscape, delivering a fusion of exclusivity, natural beauty, and architectural excellence.
