Dates confirmed for World Spa & Wellness Asia 2019

Following the success of the inaugural event in May, the World Spa & Wellness Asia convention will be returning to Thailand on May 6–7, 2019.

The second World Spa & Wellness Asia will bring a line-up of major names in the international market, talking about the business challenges impacting the market and sharing real-life examples of how they have overcome these in their own businesses.

Speakers at this year's convention included major names in the spa market such as Krod Rojanastein, Thai Government liaison, and public affairs director at Chiva-Som International; Phoebe Boonkerd, director of wellness operations and development for Amatara Wellness; Niamh O'Connell, group vice president, guest experience & wellness for Rosewood Hotel Group; and Ingo Schweder, founder & chief executive at Goco Hospitality.

In addition to a packed conference programme, the 2019 event will once again feature a showcase of carefully selected spa suppliers. This year's line-up included LPG, which was also headline sponsor, in addition to Aromatherapy Associates, Gharieni, Oakworks, Phyt’s, Biologique Recherche and many more.

World Spa & Wellness Asia 2019 will also feature unrivalled networking opportunities, from a glamorous gala party to a schedule of one-to-one meetings that will bring together buyers and suppliers.

Kathryn Moore, managing director of consultancy Spa Connectors, who organised the 2018 Asia programme, commented: “This is the first event of this size and quality in Asia, which is why I feel so many people wanted to attend in 2018. I could see that they were pleasantly surprised with the calibre of speakers and the quality of the content.”

World Spa & Wellness Asia will take place on May 6–7, 2019, at resort hotel JW Marriot Phuket, Thailand.
