Hill Int'l wins project management contract for the 5-Star Anantara Resort Hotel in RAK

UAE property development and tourism infrastructure company, RAK Properties, has awarded a contract to Hill International for project management services for the Anantara Resort, currently under development at Mina Al Arab in Ras Al Khaimah.

The 71,000m2 resort will be located on the edge of the Eco Reserve, and will feature suites, overwater villas, as well as multiple food and beverage options, fitness centre, spa and outdoor facilities.

Commenting on the contract win, Abdo Kardous, Hill International’s Regional President for the Middle East, said: “Destination projects such as the upcoming Anantara Resort are a speciality of Hill’s throughout the Emirates and the Middle East."

He also added that the team will bring their best practices to manage the construction.

Hill International's Chief Executive Officer, Raouf S Ghali, said: “The return of tourism is certainly a leading indicator that the economic recovery is underway.
