New integrative Wellness Retreat planned for AMAALA

New integrative Wellness Retreat planned for AMAALA

Updated on 23rd Feb 2026

A new chapter in luxury wellness tourism is set to unfold on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, as Jayasom confirms plans to launch its flagship integrative wellness retreat at AMAALA’s Triple Bay. With its dual focus on personal transformation and shared wellness, JayasomRed Sea as a global hub for health, culture and regenerative travel.

Scheduled to open later this year, Jayasom Wellness Resort will introduce its integrative approach to wellbeing, blending evidence-based medical science with holistic and regionally rooted healing traditions, within a protected coastal and desert landscape.

A Flagship Concept Built on Integrated Care

At the heart of Jayasom’s philosophy is a multidisciplinary model that addresses physical, emotional and mental health through personalised wellness journeys. Guests will undergo comprehensive assessments combining Western medical diagnostics with holistic therapies, resulting in tailored programmes designed to deliver long-term benefits beyond the stay itself.

Core focus areas will include:

  • Detoxification and nutrition
  • Immune resilience
  • Stress recovery and emotional wellbeing
  • Sleep optimisation
  • Physical performance and longevity
  • Women’s health and hormonal balance
  • Men’s vitality

Programmes will be overseen by medically certified specialists and experienced wellness practitioners. The resort’s facilities, spanning more than 7,000 square metres, will house physiotherapy suites, fitness and performance spaces, mindfulness studios, nutrition consultation rooms and therapeutic spa areas.

Adults-Only Serenity and Family-Focused Wellness

The property has been designed around two distinct yet complementary zones: a tranquil adults-only enclave and a family-oriented area supporting intergenerational wellbeing.

Dedicated facilities will cater to infants, toddlers, tweens and teenagers, allowing families to engage in age-appropriate programmes while maintaining privacy for guests seeking a quieter retreat experience. Family programming will centre on movement, nutrition education, emotional regulation and nature-based activities.

Sustainability plays a central role in the resort’s blueprint. A signature organic farm will supply fresh produce for the resort’s nutrition-led cuisine while serving as an educational space for guests of all ages. Beyond food production, the farm will support biodiversity initiatives, sustainable agriculture and early-stage plant cultivation for landscaping, reinforcing the connection between nourishment, environment and long-term health.

Architecturally, the resort will emphasise open spaces, natural materials and seamless integration with the surrounding coastline and desert terrain. The design prioritises calm and reflection over spectacle, aligning with the retreat’s restorative ethos.

Reviving Traditional Arab and Islamic Medicine

A defining feature of Jayasom’s arrival at AMAALA is the integration of Traditional Arab and Islamic Medicine (TAIM). Rooted in regional knowledge systems that emphasise balance, prevention and harmony between body and mind, TAIM incorporates herbal practices, nutritional principles and emotional wellbeing frameworks.

Rather than operating independently, TAIM protocols will be delivered alongside contemporary medical assessment, allowing traditional therapies to be contextualised within modern clinical standards. The result is a culturally grounded yet medically informed wellness experience.

In addition to TAIM-inspired programmes, the retreat will offer themed experiences spanning detox, sound therapy, leadership wellbeing, physical performance training, marine-based movement and equine-assisted activities.

With its dual focus on personal transformation and shared wellness, Jayasom Wellness Resort at AMAALA is positioned to become both a sanctuary for individual renewal and a destination for family wellbeing, contributing to the Red Sea coast’s emerging identity as a centre for integrative health and regenerative travel.
