Aiming to celebrate the region’s leaders in travel and hospitality sectors, readers of Business Traveller Middle East magazine voted for those who excelled in the airline, airport, hotel and car rental industries. All votes were independently counted and audited by an independent audit and analytic company.
The resort’s general manager, Jurgen Doerr, received the award from Francis Rolleston Gardner OBE at the red-carpet event at Palazzo Versace in Dubai on 22 April 2018.

Continuing a successful awards season, the resort was also shortlisted as a finalist in the “Best Resort” and “Best Hotel Spa” categories at the Leaders in Hospitality Awards 2018 by Hotel News Middle East .
