World’s tallest hotel Ciel opens in 2024 in Dubai

Ciel, which is already under construction in Dubai Marina, will reach up to 365 metres high, which is the same height as the current tallest hotel in the world, St. Regis Chicago.

The hotel will have 82 floors, 52 of which are already completed, and a glass observation deck that will offer 360-degree views of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.

As for rooms and suites, there will be over 1,000 and the hotel is set to have everything you’d expect from a swish new opening. We’re talking about a rooftop swimming pool, sundeck, gym, dining spots and a spa.

Dubai is already home to the second tallest hotel in the world with Gevora Hotel currently holding the title standing at 356.3 metres and the second spot goes to JW Marriott Marquis Dubai which is 355 metres high.

“We are thrilled to bring Ciel to Dubai’s skyline, a ground-breaking project that will redefine upscale hospitality and showcase the best of what the city has to offer. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, we are making great progress and firmly on track to open the property officially in 2024,” said Rob Burns, CEO of The First Group.

“Ciel will offer guests an unparalleled experience with its unique design, luxury amenities, and stunning views. Ciel is not just a building, but a symbol of Dubai’s ambition, innovation, creativity, and excellence,” he added.
