The Hair Championships will take place on the show floor of Professional Beauty Dubai at the Festival Arena on 18 February and will test entrants on different categories.

Judges will brief entrants on the requirements and time allotted for each category. Entrants will be judged live by some of the best industry professionals.  

Show off your skills and get involved, learn from the best in the industry! Gain experience, and receive certification of all skills presented! An award ceremony at 5:30 PM will be held after the competition and a celebration.

Register for your free ticket to Professional Beauty Dubai Show here and then email [email protected] with the categories that you would like to enter. The cost is 375 AED per category. Spots are limited, don’t miss out!

ENTER THE HAIR CHAMPIONSHIPS

General Terms and Conditions for taking part in Hair Championships PBGCC

  1. First step registration and payment must be done prior to championship online on the website of Professional Beauty GCC at https://pbgcc25.showhub.live/
  2. Second step registration must be done in person by visiting the registration booth on the championship arena at 08.30 on the day of Hair Championship PBGCC.
  3. Present the copy of payment online on arrival.
  4. Failure to register via 2 steps- online and on the arena will lead to disqualification and PBGCC reserves the rights to no refund.
  5. No show or late arrival for registration may lead to disqualification of contestant.
  6. Every registered contestant must adhere to every term and condition of Hair Championship PBGCC
  7. Rules are exactly the same for every contestant and no exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
  8. Organizers of Hair Championship PBGCC reserve the rights to disqualify and reject those participants and their models that do not follow the rules of assigned category and breach the General Terms and Conditions of PBGCC Hair Championship.
  9. In case of disqualification payment for participation will not be refunded to participant and will be kept 100% by PBGCC Hair Championship.
  10. As organizer- Hair Championship PBGCC reserves the rights to take photos and videos of any participant, models and their work with the rights to use content at any time anywhere on their own decision. All photos and videos can be used solely by PBGCC without any notification to any other party.
  11. Late arrival or arrival after registration is closed will lead to disqualification. See registration timing accordingly to the chosen category. Flight delays or cancelations, other transportation delays, force major of any kind will be considered as no show and will lead to disqualification.
  12. Mobile phones and other electronic devises must be on silence mode and no vibration mode on the competition arena.
  13. Models should not use their phones and video photo gadget during competition unless it is used for clock or watch timings.
  14. All participants must provide their own model. Model should have any valid ID for age verification. Models below 18 years old are not accepted.
  15. Models are not allowed to have any tattoo on the shoulder, neck, face or scalp.
  16. Models are not allowed to leave arena without floor judge approval before judging.
  17. Contestant and model should wear appropriate public attire accordingly to UAE culture standards.
  18. Models should wear clothing accordingly to the respective category rules.
  19. Participants can wear salon uniform. However, just professional looking attire is accepted as well.
  20. Participants and models are not allowed to display any brand name unless it is the name of the salon or the brand sponsoring participation.
  21. Entire scope of products, tools and implements must be supplied by contestants.
  22. Products such as hair styling gels, mouse, sprays, wax, pastes must be in clean looking containers with visible sign of brand production. Brand must be registered with Montaji and be legal to be used in UAE or other GCC countries.
  23. International contestant arriving from overseas can use brands registered in country of origin. Label and brands must be visible and labeled for international standards of cosmetics use.
  24. Cans, bottles, sprays containing products/substances such as hair styling gels, mouse, sprays, wax, pastes without visible brand sign or logo will be taken away from the table during floor judge table check and will be returned only after competition.
  25. Tools, scissors, sheers, clipper, brushes, combs, curling tools, clips, hair accessories are not required to have any any registration.
  26. In case of local participants, product lucking registration with local or GCC authorities- products will be taken away prior to competition without replacement and returned after competition end.
  27. Blowdryers, flat irons, curling heat tools, combs, brushes, scissors, clippers, clips, accessories, extension cords, sufficient number of sockets on extension cord should be supplied by contestant.
  28. For designated categories extra hair features such as buns, tails, or padding fixtures must be supplied by contestants.
  29. In case required by a category rules, water must be prepared by contestant prior to start of competition.
  30. Water spray may be without label.
  31. Aprons, gowns, uniforms are not allowed to display any brand logo unless sponsored by designated and registered sponsor with PBGCC.
  32. Trash bag or bin must be supplied by contestant if needed or required by contestant.
  33. Contestant and model are not allowed to leave the competition arena after registration. In case of emergency ask for floor judge assistance.
  34. Contestants are not allowed to leave the desk during competition. Leaving desk or competition area during competition timing will result in disqualification. No registration fee will be returned to contestant.
  35. PBGCC Hair Championship will provide mirror, chairs and shared sockets only.
  36. Only contestants and models are allowed to be present within competition area. Company representatives, relatives or other supporters are not allowed to enter competition area. Or communicate with contestant.
  37. Models should not interact during competition with outside public. Doing so will lead to immediate disqualification of a participant.
  38. Managers and supervisors are not allowed to interact with the participants during competition and judging. Doing so will lead to disqualification of participant.
  39. Participants are not allowed to speak to anybody from public or spectators during ongoing category competition.
  40. Participants are allowed to communicate with their own model only during competition, not during judging.
  41. Once the competition category timing announced as finished, participant must stop immediately any work and stand away from models and put hands up.
  42. Continuing touching model after time announced as finished may lead to disqualification.
  43. For exact timing refer to schedule and category rules.
  44. Participant must be present at award ceremony. Place, winners will be announced or confirmed during award ceremony. For timings refer to the schedule.
  45. Certificates of participation and trophies will be given out during ceremony of the Hair Championship PBGCC.
  46. In case of advertorial category, certificates of participation and trophies can be received by representative of contestant.
  47. Participants may request judging sheets and talk to curtain judges after competition award ceremony.
  48. Score sheets and results will be available after award ceremony for contestant only.
  49. In case of failure to adhere to terms and conditions PBGCC reserves the rights to disqualify contestant and keep 100% of participation fee.
  50. Read carefully category rules and requirements for better understanding and avoiding of disappointments.
  51. Judging will be performed in blind manner- models should not display any relation to salon or stylist for clearer judging without prejudice.
  52. Stylist must pack and leave arena as soon as time is announce as finished.
  53. Models must remain for judging and will leave as soon as judging is done.
