Demetra Pinsent departed from her role as chief executive officer of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty after 14 years leading the company. Pinsent’s had been at the helm since the brand’s launch in 2012, concluded her tenure on February 26, 2026, following an internal announcement of her decision to step down. A company spokesperson previously confirmed that she left to “pursue new opportunities.” No successor had been announced at the time of her departure.
Founder Charlotte Tilbury continued to lead the brand creatively and commercially in her roles as president, chairman and chief creative officer.
During Pinsent’s leadership, Charlotte Tilbury transformed from a startup into a billion-dollar global beauty business with a strong international presence. In 2020, the company was acquired by Spanish group Puig, which is set to assume full ownership by 2030.
Pinsent’s exit marked a significant leadership transition as the brand continued its integration within Puig’s portfolio and advanced into its next phase of global growth.
