Davines World Wide Hair Tour 2018: Sharing a Vision
The World Wide Hair Tour (WWHT) landed in Davines’ home town – Parma, Italy, after London and Los Angeles, to reunite creative hairdressers who share the same vision, to exchange trends, ideas and projects in an event dedicated to beauty: a value that Davines translates into harmony, good taste and an expression of its own individuality.
Davines’ core values were clearly expanded on throughout the two-day hair show, with hair stylists taking to the stage to reveal their individual collections which all portrayed their visions surrounding the heart and soul of the sustainable hair brand. Throughout the two days, stylists took to the stage to demonstrate and share their latest inspiration which were conceived to teach and transmit the most recent industry trends.
The Davines Village
The two-day extravaganza was a unique event in history for the brand, with over 3,300 industry professionals from around the world ascending on Parma, Italy – where the brand was founded in 1983. Not only this, the event marked the unveliance of the brand new ‘Davines Village’ the ‘Home of Sustainable Beauty’ for the Davines and Comfort Zone brand. Developed on a surface area of 77,000 square meters, of which half is covered by gardens created by the studio landscape design Del Buono Gazerwitz, the village is dedicated to training, research and development, the product plant and a large greenhouse, the core and beating heart of the whole complex.
Conceived to offer an example of sustainable architecture and to generate wellbeing – a core value for Davines – the new headquarters expresses the values that have always identified the company’s approach: the balance between ethics and aesthetics, the virtous relation between man and environment, and a humanistic approach to business with the goal to create positive impact inside and outside its own network. A new home was unveiled and open to all professional customers who, during the two-days, had a chance to visit and enjoy the Davines’ community.
