Four Seasons Hotels and Resorst has officially opened the Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Located on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast against the backdrop of the Tabuk region's mountains, the new ultra-luxury property is designed as a premier destination for purpose-driven wellness and regenerative tourism.
The resort serves as a cornerstone of the broader AMAALA development, a pioneering gigaproject focused on sustainability, wellness, and cultural preservation.
A holistic approach to wellness tourism
At the heart of the resort's offering is a comprehensive wellness program built around three ecological pillars: sky, land, and sea.
The centerpiece of this experience is the HYLIAA Wellness & Spa, named after the Arabic word for "elegant beauty", which spans 2,095 square meters (22,550 square feet). It is complemented by a 511-square-meter (5,500-square-foot) fitness center. Guests can participate in tailored one-, two-, or three-day wellness journeys designed to restore physical and mental health.
"What’s truly exciting here at Triple Bay is the intentional approach to wellness that extends throughout the entire destination," said Ulf Bremer, General Manager of the resort. "It’s so much more than a spa resort—it’s a place where individuals can define their own wellbeing, with abundant opportunities for cultural exploration, natural discovery, and personal growth."
Immersive guest programming
The resort offers a diverse roster of activities aimed at connecting guests with local culture and the natural environment:
- Mindfulness & Movement: Sunrise and starlight yoga, sound healing sessions, and workshops led by visiting wellness practitioners.
- Nature & Exploration: Guided walks, night hikes, and stargazing sessions.
- Cultural Connection: Islamic poetry readings and culinary workshops.
- Eco-Preservation: Opportunities to participate in local environmental regeneration and community volunteer projects through the Four Seasons for Good program.
Resort architecture and accommodations
Designed by Dubai-based U+A architects, the resort features 202 guest rooms, suites, and garden villas, all offering unobstructed views of the Red Sea.
For long-term residents, the property includes 26 branded private residential villas. These ultra-luxury residences range in size from 552 square meters (5,900 square feet) to more than 1,000 square meters (11,200 square feet), each equipped with a private pool and panoramic coastal views.

Part of a broader coastal vision
The Triple Bay destination offers extensive off-site exploration opportunities. Guests have direct access to Corallium, a cutting-edge Marine Life Institute designed by Foster + Partners, where they can take guided educational tours of global marine conservation efforts. Additionally, the nearby Triple Bay Yacht Club and marina village offer upscale shopping and dining.
The opening of the AMAALA property marks a significant step in Four Seasons' strategic expansion along Saudi Arabia’s western coast. The project joins the recently announced Four Seasons Resort Red Sea at Shura Island, as well as upcoming properties at NEOM's Sindalah Island and a new urban hotel in Jeddah.
