Accor’s luxury brand Raffles Hotels & Resorts has officially opened the doors to Raffles Jeddah, marking a major milestone in the group's expansion strategy. The launch represents the brand's first new project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in over 15 years, following the 2010 opening of the Raffles Makkah Palace.

Prime corniche location

Situated prominently along Jeddah’s scenic Corniche waterfront, the newly minted property places guests within arm's length of the city's most vibrant coastal destinations.Local Landmarks: Just minutes away from family hotspots like the Fakieh Aquarium, Al Shallal Theme Park, and the upscale Boulevard Jeddah.Transit Access: Ideally positioned for international travelers, sitting a convenient 25-minute drive from King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED).

Heritage-infused design & accommodations

The property features 182 keys, including 40 expansive waterfront suites that look out over the Red Sea. The interiors are heavily influenced by traditional Saudi heritage, integrating local Hejazi architectural accents like complex mashrabiya screens (traditional projecting latticework windows).Starting at a generous 66 square meters, the standard guest rooms rank among the most spacious hotel accommodations currently available anywhere in the Kingdom.

Amenities and lifestyle offerings

The culinary and wellness spaces aim to blend regional traditions with international sophistication:

Dining & Gastronomy: Guests can dine at Surl’O, a lively all-day brasserie, or visit the Atorie Lounge & Patisserie, which serves a menu blending French pastry precision with Japanese flavors. A dedicated Mediterranean dining venue is slated to open later this year.

Wellness & Recreation: Features authentic Moroccan hammams, state-of-the-art fitness hubs, expansive outdoor swimming pools, and secluded couples’ treatment suites.

Corporate & Events Infrastructure: Includes six tech-enabled meeting spaces, a high-end VIP lounge, a dedicated business center, and two grand ballrooms facing the property's central plaza.

Executive Vision and Regional Outlook

Commenting on the opening, Fredrik Blomqvist, General Manager of Raffles Jeddah, emphasized the hotel's dual focus:"Raffles Jeddah has been designed to celebrate the spirit of this remarkable city while delivering the elegance and personalised service that defines the brand. From the architecture and art to culinary and wellness experiences, every detail reflects our commitment to creating a destination that feels both locally rooted and globally sophisticated."

Continued Growth in Saudi Arabia

The Jeddah opening kicks off a busier chapter for the brand in the region. Raffles is currently finalizing preparations to launch Raffles The Red Sea later this year on Shura Island. That upcoming resort will bring an additional 121 keys and five dining venues to the Kingdom's high-profile Red Sea tourism development, building on Raffles' existing Middle Eastern presence across Dubai, Doha, and Manama.
