Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island has officially entered its final phase of a major transformation program, temporarily closing its doors to prepare for a grand relaunch in early 2027.
The move marks Phase 2 of a structured repositioning strategy designed to elevate the property into a leading contemporary resort destination, aligning with Ras Al Khaimah’s rapidly evolving luxury hospitality landscape.
A seamless, full-closure renovation
Following the successful refurbishment of its public areas last year, the resort temporarily suspended operations on May 1, 2026. Rather than opting for a phased renovation that could disrupt the guest experience, management chose a full closure to accelerate construction and maintain the highest standards of quality.
The current phase is heavily focused on the property's accommodations, including:
- A complete overhaul of all guest rooms.
- Modernization of corridors across all guest floors (Level 1 and above).
- The introduction of a cohesive, contemporary design language that reflects Pullman’s global brand direction.
"This marks a defining moment in our transformation journey," said Evan Harrington, Cluster General Manager. "This is a deliberate investment to elevate the overall experience, ensuring we return to market with a stronger and more contemporary offering that meets evolving guest expectations."
Continuity of service via Accor network
To ensure corporate partners and loyal guests face zero disruption during the closure, the resort has activated alternative arrangements within the Accor network.
The nearby Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, one of the emirate's most vibrant destinations, is currently serving as the active cluster resort, guaranteeing continuity of service and hospitality excellence throughout the transition period.
Looking ahead to 2027
When the resort unveils its new look in early 2027, visitors can expect a fully reimagined experience tailored to today's experience-driven travelers. The upscale relaunch will seamlessly blend modernized comfort, cutting-edge design, and a renewed focus on premium, modern resort hospitality on Al Marjan Island.
