Serenity Spa at Fairmont The Palm, Dubai, which opened earlier this year, has appointed Nadia Bartolomeo as its new spa director. With a wealth of experience spanning globally recognized wellness destinations and award-winning spas, Bartolomeo is set to elevate the spa's reputation as a leading name in the UAE's luxury wellness industry.
Bartolomeo began her wellness career in London, overseeing operations at St. Pancras Spa and honing her expertise as a senior therapist at The Lanesborough Hotel. She later transitioned to the UAE, bringing her leadership and innovation to several prestigious spas.
Before joining Serenity Spa, Bartolomeo spearheaded the pre-opening of Uptown Spa by S/O Hotel Dubai. Prior to that, she served as director of spa and recreation at Ciel Spa, SLS Dubai Hotels and Residences, where her efforts garnered numerous accolades, including the Fact Spa and Wellness Best Newcomer (2021) and the World Luxury Spa Awards: Luxury Couple Spa - UAE (2022). Her ability to lead high-performing teams positioned Ciel Spa as a standout destination in Dubai’s competitive wellness scene.
Another highlight of her career includes her tenure as director of spa at The Spa Palazzo, Palazzo Versace Dubai. Under her leadership, the spa achieved international recognition, receiving the Travel & Leisure Best Destination Spa International and Leaders in Hospitality Luxury Spa awards.
Bartolomeo’s extensive experience also includes managing operations and pre-openings at premier establishments such as Ayana Spa at Bab Al Qasr Hotel, Abu Dhabi, and The Spa at The Address Downtown Dubai.
With her appointment at Serenity Spa, Bartolomeo is poised to redefine the spa's position as a leader in luxury wellness, bringing her signature expertise and vision to the forefront of the UAE’s hospitality and wellness landscape.
