When Davines’ founder Davide Bollati launched ComfortZone back in 1996, he wanted to offer professional solutions which could ensure not only the beauty of the skin but offer holistic wellness. Indeed, the first tagline was indeed “peace of mind, joy of skin”. Today, Comfort Zone is a complete offering of both professional spa treatments and homecare skincare products. Both encompass regenerative, clean solutions, deeply rooted in science and advanced studies, which have been developed to ensure visible results, but which simultaneously have a deep respect for nature.
Comfort Zone is an ideal brand for modern consumers aged 25+, who have a clear environmental conscience, to align with as it is a green philosophy and yet it does not compromise on results. The brand offers an array of ranges that are all designed to improve skin and protect it from sensitivity, imbalances and aging, which can be triggered by lifestyle and internal and external factors such as pollution and stress.
As the brand relaunches in the region under the guidance of EIDEAL, we sat down with the duo who have been charged with growing the brand in the region.
- What is your educational/work background?
My Health & Wellness journey began 20 years ago after I completed my Somatology International Diploma, with CIDESCO, ITEC and SAAHSP recognition. I pursued my passion in luxury and travel which led me to work in America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The experience of working with a diversified portfolio of luxury spas, salons, and international skincare brands as a Brand Trainer, Key Account Manager, and Business Manager has given me an in-depth understanding of our industry. I have since established myself in the UAE and have developed key relationships within the Health and Wellness Industry. My extensive operational experience within the GCC region allows me to successfully develop and implement business and brand strategies aligned with market trend
- Why do you love ComfortZone? What appealed to you about working for the brand?
I resonate with [Comfort Zone] on several levels. The brand’s vision and mission are aligned with my own values by being the best for the world and inspiring others to be the best version of themselves. I am proud to be a part of a B-Corp Business, leading the shift to help change society for the better, and by regenerating the planet.
The lifestyle brand enables me to offer partners a scientific approach with results-orientated solutions. We offer luxury treatments that are vegan friendly, and with constant innovation, [Comfort Zone] grows from strength to strength each year. I believe that it is our responsibility to drive change, and with my shared passion and purpose it is my mission to improve our social and environmental impact.
- What do you think you bring to the brand?
I am a results-orientated leader with an entrepreneurial attitude. I believe my proactive and conscious style leadership allows me to successfully build a brand image, drive revenue and achieve strategic business goals. I have the ability to engage, connect and energize others to deliver results. With my experience, I am able to conceptualise unforgettable consumer experiences and foster brand loyalty.
I am driven to be an impactful force for good, to start a movement and empower business owners, therapists, and consumers to be the same. Together we will see the change, together we will transform our society and be the positive change we want to see in the world, especially for our younger generation’s sake!
- Favourite aspects of the job? - Favourite CZ treatments/products and why?
I am all about the personal connections we make in our daily lives. There is nothing that can replace a social interaction or an energetic brainstorming session. I am an advocate for being present in the moment and the daily challenges are my driving forces for the day.
I love many products from [Comfort Zone], but my favourite products are the Body Strategist Attack Serum and Body Strategist Contour Cream. After I had my second child, I used these products religiously and with out a doubt I saw visible results. Combined with Aqua spinning, they helped me get my body back into shape.
- What's planned for CZ for 2023?
[Comfort Zone] is known for constant research and rigorous testing, with an internal R&D team crafting vegan friendly, concentrated formulas rich in potent natural-origin and high-tech bioactive ingredients.
There are some exciting new launches coming in 2023. During the Professional Beauty Show on the 20th and 21st February, we shall showcase Sublime Skin Neck and Décolleté as well as the new Body Strategist products and their related treatments.
- What is your educational/work background?
I am from the UK where I completed my Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Level 4 in Advanced Skin Treatments and Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice. I have 10 years’ industry experience across the UK, Australia and now Dubai and have trained with 18 face and body brands during this time. I have been lucky enough to have worked in senior positions in many areas of my industry from 5* spas, salons & skin clinics to having my own business in the UK offering advanced skin consultations and skin treatments. I have met some amazing people along the way and have had the opportunity to treat some reality stars, influencers & sports people. I became an educator teaching International Diplomas in Beauty Therapy whilst I have been in Dubai and now I feel extremely fortunate to be in a role where I can bring my two passions together; skincare and education.
- Why do you love ComfortZone? What appealed to you about working for the brand?
Comfort Zone appealed to me because it brings together 2 key concepts that I love and feel very passionate about:
- Conscious: The brand is sustainable AND acts responsibly. It is part of many ongoing projects to help save the planet and the lines are made in Italy with renewable resources. The brand uses recyclable packaging, fully CO2 compensated and chooses high-quality ingredients which respect the skin and the planet.

Skin Science: The brand has more 40 scientists behind them bringing together chemists, biologists, and dermatologists to provide us with clean, result-driven formulas, highly concentrated in natural-origin and high-tech ingredients.
I love that Comfort Zone brings these two concepts together and gives us incredible results-driven, beautiful products without compromising the safety of our planet. How amazing is that!
- What do you think you bring to the brand?
My passion has always been in giving value and education whether that be to my clients, to therapists or to students I have trained. I come from a background of in-depth anatomy and physiology so I really understand how to read someone’s skin, I understand why someone’s skin responds the way it does, how certain ingredients work within the skins layers and what lifestyle changes need to be implemented to reach the skins optimum health.
I am passionate about this because this large and lazy organ we call the skin really is so intricate and unique to every individual but let’s face it (excuse the pun), we ALL have skin, we are ALL ageing every single day (sad But true) and we are ALL facing daily stressors in this modern day of living and that has a major impact on our skin. So, we need to be educating our clients and consumers correctly and guiding them on their journey to skin health and that’s exactly what I’m here to help our therapists here in the Middle East do.
- Favourite CZ treatments/products and why?
This is a really hard question because I love so many for different reasons! I think my favourite line has to be the Sublime Skin range, the science behind this and the results we are getting from this is just incredible!
