AlUla hotel marks the brand’s first property in the Middle East

Habitas AlUla has now opened in the ancient region of Saudi Arabia. The sustainable hospitality brand has launched it’s first property in the Middle East at an ancient oasis in the desert canyons of the Ashar Valley.
Habitas AlUla rooms and facilities

The resort offers 96 guest rooms that span three tiers. These include the premium Celestial Villas, Alcove Villas and Canyon Villas. There is also a yoga deck, wellness and fitness centres, restaurant and swimming pool.
Sustainability from the ground up

Each of these spaces is constructed from ethically-sourced organic materials. The hotel is made out of a minimally invasive build model. The hotel was designed in a low impact way that does no harm to the environment.
Habitas AlUla’s wellness activities
The guest programming at the property features art and culture walks, canyon trekking, yoga, meditation and breathwork. Habitas will leverage its musical roots to offer performances from the region’s unique talents, and showcase them for guests through the medium of a concert series.
The property offers weekly outdoor cinema screenings featuring regional cultural films and documentaries in addition to open discussion lectures relating to local initiatives, culture, and history. Numerous arts and culture activities, like the hosted artworks of Mohammad Ahmed Ibrahim, Superflex and Nadim Karam, complement these learning experiences. This also includes a guided walk through the remains of the ancient city where the Nabateans once lived.

F&B highlighting sustainable Saudi cuisine
Habitas AlUla’s on-site restaurant Tama is positioned as a gathering place that uses sustainable agricultural methods in its culinary experiences. The F&B concept marries Saudi and Middle Eastern cuisine, sourcing local ingredients and highlighting the flavours of Saudi Arabia.
Canyon Rooms at Habitas AlUla start from $600 USD or AED2,250 per night.
