Renovations planned for Jebel Ali, JBR and Hatta properties as hospitality group enhances guest experience.
JA Resorts & Hotels has unveiled a comprehensive refurbishment programme across its Dubai portfolio, with renovation works set to enhance guest experiences while preserving the unique character of each property.
The upgrades will span the group's beachfront, city and mountain resorts, alongside the introduction of new leisure and recreational facilities.
At JA The Resort in Jebel Ali, refurbishment works will commence this summer and are scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026. Planned enhancements include upgrades to the resort's leisure facilities, most notably Club Joumana, which will feature a new clubhouse and sports café. The resort will also introduce the new JA Sports & Shooting Club this summer, further expanding its recreational offering.
Meanwhile, JA Ocean View Hotel in Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) will undergo a significant façade renovation beginning in May 2026. Opened in 2012, the hotel occupies a prime location near popular attractions including Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island. The exterior upgrade is designed to maintain the property's contemporary appearance in one of Dubai's busiest tourism destinations.
The group's most extensive transformation will take place at JA Hatta Fort Hotel, where a phased masterplan will focus on enhancing privacy, comfort and guest wellbeing. Located in the Hajar Mountains, the first phase of the refurbishment will introduce a new wellness centre, upgraded public spaces and refreshed accommodations with a more contemporary design. The hotel will remain open throughout the renovation programme, with work being carried out in stages from this summer.
Commenting on the investment, Ralph Porciani, CEO of JA Resorts & Hotels, said: "These enhancements reflect how we continue to evolve our properties with care, ensuring they remain relevant while retaining the familiarity and warmth our guests value."
JA Resorts & Hotels joins a growing number of hospitality brands investing in property upgrades across Dubai. Major hotels currently undergoing refurbishment include the Armani Hotel Dubai and the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, both of which are expected to remain closed until 2027, alongside renovation projects at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, St. Regis Dubai The Palm and several other landmark properties.
